How to book an appointment

I book all my appointments in email. I don't call you, and if you are insistent, I will flat out refuse to even offer you an appointment. People who chat on the phone are not real prospects: they just want to talk.

Step 1. I would like you to tell me some things about yourself,
like where you live,
how old you are,
what you do for a living...
plus a few words about your personality. I also need your cell phone number. If you don't have a cell phone, I cannot see you, sorry.

Step 2. Then, you go to my calendar and pick one or two timeslots that you can be certain you can be here. Then email me with the above information and the request for a specific time and length of time.

Step 3. If the time works for me I email back to tell you that. If it doesn't, then I tell you that.

Step 4. Then you confirm that you indeed ask me to reserve my time for you at a specific time for a specific length of time. I need your cell phone number and the last possible time when I can email you with further information before the appointment. Then I put you in my appointment book.

Step 5. At the last possible time you specified (normally the night before the appointment), I email you the directions and my phone number with instructions about how to proceed. My method is to send exact, true-and-tried directions to my street the night before, coupled with my phone number.

You call from the car, I tell you where to park, and then I point out the exact house to you. Then you get out of the car, phone off, and come in. I never mention house number, and neither do you. What you don't say, no one can hear, right?

Works for me, and works for others.

Step 6. If you wish anything special in the appointment, please let me know so I can be prepared. If you don't let me know ahead of time: oh well, I probably can't do it without preparation.

Step 7. At the date and time of the appointment you call me on my phone and then we have an amazing time together... according to my rules, according to my latest reviews.

Step 8. If I deem that I need to talk to you on the phone, I prefer calling you myself. I do not give out my phone number until I must, and I don't book an appointment without first having your cell phone number... here is a link to My schedule
